Pessina, Arturo - Signed Photograph in Falstaff Autographs Actresses - Letter A German-Swiss violinistItalian baritone (1858 1926), sang throughout Italy and made guest appearances at the Royal Opera Convent Garden, among other theatres. Following his 1910 retirement, became a leading voice teacher, one of his most prominent pupils was the well known bass Tancredi Pasero. Very attractive signed vintage photograph mounted onto a cabinet, shown in the title role of Verdi's Falstaff, inscribed in Naples, dated in 1897. Bold handwriting and signature.
