The oak is background cedar which will recede further as the fruits emerge with some bottle age

The nose is marked by aromas of nuts, almonds, toast, mocha, gingerbread, tobacco. Still very fresh despite these marked aromas of ageing. On the palate, candied fruit still accompanies this strong character of a 40 year old Armagnac. Long in the palate.
